Dark Conky Theme

I recently worked on a dark desktop theme for conky, the result was a super cool desktop theme. It is completely modular and consists of a number of widgets whose position can be easily configured using conky manager. I actively make additional commits to this project, add new widgets and fix any bugs that I find.

When you install this theme using conky manager you will only get the background, and all the widgets listed below in the widgets section. You will not get the top panel which is an xfce component or the dock below, you can install the dock below by installing plank.

Widgets

I plan on adding more widgets, the current widgets are as follows:

1.  4 core CPU Panel
2. Gotham Date & Time Bar
3. Real Time Bitcoin Price Widget
4. 4 day Weather Forecast Widget
5. Network Panel
6. CPU & Process Monitor Panel

OS

It was tested on Manjaro XFCE which comes which uses python3 as its default python interpreter. If you plan on installing it on Ubuntu which uses python2 by default you would have to make minor changes before you install, these minor changes can be found in the github -README.MD file.

Note: Anyone interested maintaining the Python2 version for Github should fork the current github repository. The changes are extremely minor and simple but I am not interested in maintaining two version of the theme. A fork might be useful for people who are complete novices in Linux.

Resolution

This theme was tested on my Laptop with a resolution of 1368*768. If your monitor has a different resolution you would have to make location changes. These changes are trivial and can easily be accomplished without writing any code by simply using the conky manger.
